2016 is about to end, but a lot of movies are yet to be released. We had a large number of successful #Bollywood films this year. Celebs like Aamir Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan have not released their mega-movies so far. So, we are expecting that the month of December would bring numerous multi-starer movies. Here we have an updated list of most anticipated Bollywood films of 2016.

Dangal

“Dangal” is an upcoming sports drama film. Its director is Nitesh Tiwari. The movie has Aamir Khan. He has played the character of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who teaches wrestling to his daughters named Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. As a former Indian wrestler, Singh Phogat prepares his daughters to win the gold medal. The music composer of this flick is Pritam, while the lyrics have been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. “Dangal” is scheduled to be released in the last week of December 2016. Apart from Aamir Khan, this movie has Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zaira Wasim, and Sanya Malhotra in important roles. According to a report, Khan had lost over 20kg for this film.

Jagga Jasoos

“Jagga Jasoos” is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films of 2016. This comedy drama’s director is Anurag Basu. Basu, and Ranbir Kapoor have produced the movie. It features Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, and Adah Sharma in the main roles. This is a love triangle. A teenage boy is searching for his missing father. The movie is expected to be released in the last week of December 2016, or first week of January 2017. After a long time, the fans of Katrina and Ranbir would see them together in “Jagga Jasoos.” Their expectations are high. Since the breakup of the love birds, we could not see Kapoor and Kaif in any movie.

Raees

“Raees” is set to be released in the third-week of December. This Indian thriller’s director is Rahul Dholakia. The movie producers are Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar. It would be released under the banners of "Red Chillies Entertainment," and "Excel Entertainment." It has Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the main characters. “Raees” is about the life of a criminal named Abdul Latif. In the 1980s, he had lost his business, and eventually becomes a criminal. Sunny Leone has appeared as a guest star in this film. It's shooting began in April 2015. Most of the scenes have been shot in Mumbai, Gujrat, and Ahmedabad. Shah Rukh Khan has recently said in an interview that Ankita Shorey was the first choice for the main character. Later on, Mahira Khan was invited from Pakistan for an audition, and she got the chance to play this role.
