These foods are good for high blood pressure: American Journal of Clinical Nutrition says

The healthy diets play a significant role in keeping us fit and energetic. According to American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, the patients of high blood pressure (also called hypertension), diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders should not eat anything without the recommendation of doctors.
These days, high blood pressure has become the most common problem of the US. Over time, this can cause blood vessel damage leading to heart attack, kidney failure, and other severe problems. Thus, it is needed that we opt for health-friendly diets that help us to get rid of hypertension to a greater extent. The DASH names the following foods to be good in this regard.

White beans and leafy greens are good

Undoubtedly, white beans are good for anyone with the problem of high or low blood pressure. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition claims that foods with sufficient potassium are always a good option for diabetic patients. At the same time, these provide your body with sufficient energy without disturbing the functioning of digestive system.
On the other hand, leafy greens including arugula, kale, collard greens, and spinach are quite ideal so feel free to use them as much as you want. Do not forget to use fresh white beans and leafy greens because canned veggies are good for nothing.

Berries for high blood pressure

Berries perfectly deal with high blood pressure. I don’t think there would be anyone who dislikes blueberries. These are a rich source of flavonoid, a natural compound that regulates the blood circulation. A study published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition proves that berries significantly prevent hypertension, and can reduce the risks of obesity.
Use raspberries and strawberries in a large quantity. You should avoid frozen berries and bring home the fresh ones. It is one of the healthiest desserts.

Potatoes for hypertension

Potatoes are a favorite vegetable of many children and adults. Studies reveal these are rich in potassium, magnesium, and minerals. Thus, potatoes are good to deal with the problem of high blood pressure. Even those who are suffering from body weakness can use potatoes.
These veggies contain high fiber content which is essential for overall health. Enjoy baked potatoes twice a week. You should not use salty butter and sour cream alongside your veggies because this kills our health. Try to keep your diet as simple as possible. For flavor, use a cup of plain yogurt with your baked potatoes.

Use skimmed milk

Milk is a favorite diet of children. It is an excellent source of calcium, minerals, proteins, and vitamins. The DASH has recommended that the patients with hypertension should use skimmed milk on a regular basis. Skip the cow milk from your diet and bring home skimmed milk. It is low in fat but rich in carbohydrates and calcium. Thus, you can lower the blood pressure gradually.

High blood pressure is the silent killer because it accompanies no initial signs. Being a victim of this disease, if you do not take care of your diets, you would soon suffer from disabilities of multiple types.
